What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

You would think that I would have posted regularly in 2020 and 2021 because of the lockdown. I have no idea why I didn’t. I was very productive. Shout for joy! is the final instruction in the assembly instructions for Sue Garman’s Ladies of the Sea. Last week I finally finished the top. What a relief!

The border is NOT part of the Sue Garman pattern. It is Whale Dance Row by Row 2018 Block by Marie Noah from Northern Threads in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Last Friday I decided it was time to lay out the blocks for Good Fortune, the 2018 Bonnie Hunter mystery. When I picked them up I discovered that I had already laid them out into rows that were ready to be assembled. I was a mad woman, sewing since then to get this project ready for quilting.

Everything went reasonably well until yesterday. The top was completed except for stay stitching around the edge.
